HSC 2002/012 - Primary care trusts revenue resource limits 2003/04, 2004/05 & 2005/06

This HSC notifies Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) of their initial revenue resource limits for 2003/04, 2004/05 and 2005/06. It should be read in conjunction with Improvement, expansion reform the next 3 years planning priorities framework 2003-2006 which was issued in September 2002. The planning and priorities framework reflects the commitments in the NHS Plan. For the first time allocations are being made direct to PCTs. Also for the first time allocations are being made for three years rather than one single year. This will allow local health services to plan over the medium term to achieve the targets set out in the planning and priorities framework and to achieve a better balance between treatment and prevention, between hospital and community services.
