This guidance provides a framework for the development of joint housing, health and social services strategies to address the essential link between housing and community care. It builds on the circular LAC (92)12 Housing and Community Care, and addresses in some detail a number of areas of policy and practice which have become increasingly important since the implementation of the community care reforms. There is an equivalent document to this guidance: LASSL(97)2.
