This guidance comprises permanent Terms and Conditions of Service for the Specialist Registrar in public health medicine, to come into effect 1 April 1997. These Terms and Conditions will apply immediately to new trainees after 1 April, to trainees on interim contracts and to existing and senior registrars transferring to the Specialist Registrar grade.
