This circular sets out how the capital grant for improving information management in social services is to be allocated and provides conditions for use of the grant by councils.

Action

Authorities are asked to:

  • note the allocations of the grant and arrangements for its payment
  • note the conditions to be applied
  • where appropriate, submit the final statement to this Department by 31 December 2005.
