This circular sets out how the capital grant for improving information management in social services is to be allocated and provides conditions for use of the grant by councils.
It refers to LASSL (2004)26, which announced that £25m would be paid in 2005-06 to CSSRs for the purposes of the development, improvement or acquisitions of systems for improving information management.
