This circular confirms the Preserved Rights Grant allocations for 2006/07 and gives provisional allocations for 2007/8. There are no conditions attached to these grants. The Residential Allowance grant ended on 31 March 2006. This Circular should be cancelled on 31 March 2008
Accompanied by Appendix 2 Determination of a grant under Section 31 of the Local Government Act 2003 of the Preserved Rights Grant for 2006/07 and 2007/08
The Local Authority Social Services Letter LASSL(2005)6, issued on 5 December 2005 as part of the overall Local Government finance settlement, notified local authorities of their respective shares (in £000s) of the Department of Health's specific revenue and capital grants available for adults' social care and for children's services: Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services. This circular confirms at £ level the actual allocations for 2006/07 and provisional allocations for 2007/08 for the Preserved Rights Grant.
