The Adoption and Children Bill currently before Parliament places a clear duty on councils to make and participate in arrangements to provide adoption support services. Once the Bill is enacted it is intended that regulations and supporting guidance on adoption support will be issued for consultation - a consultation document is attached to ensure that all with an interest have an opportunity to contribute to these.
