This letter notifies local authorities of those elements of the 2005-06 local government finance settlement that are relevant to their Adults' Personal Social Services (PSS) funding and to their Children's Personal Social Services funding insofar as this is provided by the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Grant. Figures for the total PSS Formula Spending Share (PSS FSS), details of specific revenue and capital grant allocations (where available), and a brief description of each grant, appear in the annexes. All figures indicated in respect of 2006-07 and 2007-08 are provisional, and have been included for planning purposes only.
This letter should be read in conjunction with DfES letter, LASSL (2004)25.
