All local authority social services letters
Local authority social services letters (LASSLs) are issued by the Department of Health (DH) or by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES). Some are issued jointly. Recent DH and jointly-issued LASSLs are displayed here. Use the publications and letters library to find earlier ones. From 1 January 2007, DH LASSL series numbers were amended to distinguish them from DfES-issued LASSLs. This is indicated by (DH) in the series number.
