This letter is issued to local authorities to confirm both their adults’ Personal Social Services (PSS) specific revenue and capital grant funding for the period 2011-13. Details of individual funding stream allocation formulae (where these are available), and a brief description of each area, appear in the relevant annexes.  This letter should be read in conjunction with David Behan’s letter of 20 October 2010, which set out the different parts of the Spending Review settlement for social care.
