A letter from the Chief Medical Officer Sir Liam Donaldson and Chief Nursing Officer Professor Christine Beasley reporting changes to the publishing period for data collected by acute NHS hospital Trusts through the Mandatory surveillance of MRSA bacteraemias. Following an announcement by the Secretary of State for Health this information will now be published six-monthly rather than annually.
