PL CO (98)2: Advisory Committee on Dangerous Pathogens (ACDP)/Spongiform Encephalopathy Advisory Committee (SEAC) guidance 'Transmissible spongiform encephalopathy agents: safe working and the prevention of infection'

This letter advises that the above guidance, prepared by a joint Working Group of the Advisory Committee on Dangerous Pathogens (ACDP) and the Spongiform Encephalopathy Advisory Committee (SEAC), has now been published. The new guidance is particularly aimed at all healthcare workers, pathologists and others involved in the control of infection at work and in the community, and those involved in laboratory work with agents of TSEs.
