This is the first year that SHAs have produced published annual reports on PBC, following a commitment in Practice based commissioning: practical implementation.
The reports seek wherever possible to provide aggregated data to quantify service changes in terms of activity levels and costs. However due to the reconfiguration of PCTs this has proved challenging. The merger of differing processes and systems to capture this data has meant that providing robust aggregated figures has not been possible this year. Where aggregated data is cited, it should be used as a guideline only.
