Department of Health sponsor “Promoting Healthcare Science” Award

Healthcare scientists are encouraged to enter the ‘Promoting Healthcare Science’ Award sponsored by the Department of Health, through the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO).

Individuals or teams are encouraged to enter examples of how they have displayed imagination and creativity in promoting a career in healthcare science.

This reflects the particular challenge of explaining the opportunities available for scientists in the health services and recruiting and retaining scientists into the wide range of specialist services. The entry can be from an individual or team at any level who have displayed imagination and creativity in promoting a career in healthcare science.

The closing date is Tuesday 4 November 2008.
