A guide to practice-based commissioners in developing good cancer care services

This document supports the Cancer Reform Strategy commitment to developing world class commissioning of cancer services across the NHS. There will be a transition from central direction towards more locally driven improvement in cancer services and development of effective tools to support practice based commissioners in providing world class commissioning.  This guidance is one of these tools and sits along side the cancer commissioning guidance and toolkit providing a range of benchmarked information and data.
