The purpose of the inspection was to evaluate the effectiveness of the local Council in working with partners in providing services to adults aded 16 to 64 years with physical and sensory disabilites, including those who prefer to call themselves deaf or blind. Overall inspectors judged that services in Barnsley were serving some people well.
