Building a better future for children - Key messages from inspection and performance assessment

This summary report, which was issued with CI(2004)2, is based on the key findings from recent SSI inspections and performance assessment as well as the evaluation of the Victoria Climbié Inquiry self audits. It maps the improvements being made but also the challenges and difficulties that councils still face.
