Direction to disapply the paragraph in the Community Care Plans Direction 1991 that requires councils to submit a plan each year.

Community Care Plans (England) Directions 2002

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by paragraph (c) of section 46(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990(a) hereby gives the following Directions:

Citation, commencement, interpretation and application

1.-(1) These Directions may be cited as the Community Care Plans (England) Directions 2002 and shall come into force on 5th April 2002. 2. In these Directions "the principal Direction" means the Community Care Plans Direction 1991. 3. These Directions apply to England only.

2. Paragraph 1(b) of the principal Direction shall not apply in the financial year beginning on 1st April 2002 and ending on 31st March 2003.
