The Government's response to the Fourth Report of the Shipman Inquiry, Safer Management of Controlled Drugs, is being published today. This Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) gives an overview of the expected impact of the actions and proposals in the government response on public sector frontline staff, private and voluntary healthcare and social care organisations. The attached annexes A to E give further details on the measures likely to have the greatest impact.
