This document sets out why the reform is taken forward and explains the aims and objectives of the NHS Redress Scheme. The detail of how the scheme will work in practice will be set out in secondary legislation, and there will be consultation with stakeholders on the detail of how the scheme will operate as we develop this, within the scope of the broad powers taken in the Bill.
