Primary care trusts (PCT) and ambulance trust transfer orders

New primary care trusts (PCTs) came into force on 1 October 2006. To allow existing PCTs to transfer property, staff, assets and liabilities to the new PCTs, PCT transfer orders have been prepared. New ambulance trusts came into force on 1st July 2006. To allow existing ambulance trusts to transfer property, staff, assets and liabilities to the new ambulance trusts, ambulance trust transfer orders have been prepared.
