Part II: Alleged Abuse of Children in care in Local Authority Homes in CLWYD between 1974 and 1996
Part II looks in depth at the situation surrounding Bryn Estyn Hall and the various allegations that emerged from here and elswhere in Clwyd. Firstly Bryn Estyn Hall between 1974 to 1984 is examined. Then the allegations of sexual abuse, the case of Gordon Anglesea and allegations of physical abuse at Bryn Estyn are examined. We will also discuss other aspects of the Bryn Estyn regime. Part II then looks at other homes/assessment centres in the area namely: Little Acton Assessment Centre, 1974 to 1980 Bersham Hall, 1974 to 1993 Chevet Hey, 1974 to 1990 Cartrefle Community Home, 1974 to 1993 Cherry Hill Community Home Three community homes in north Clwyd
