Practice based commissioning: practical implementation

Good progress has been made in putting the right environment in place for practice based commissioning. 2007/08 will build on this work, delivering practical implementation of PBC as set out in these new guidelines. The direction of travel for PBC remains unchanged, but this new document aims to clarify a number of challenging issues, such as governance and accountability and budget-setting.
