The United Kingdom Xenotransplantation Interim Regulatory Authority ceased to exist from 12 December 2006. This guidance explains the DH policy position on xenotransplantation, describes approval processes and points to appropriate sources of expertise and advice for further information and support
This guidance supersedes HSC 1998/126, and the winding down of UK Xenotransplantation Interim Regulatory Authority (UKXIRA)
