Holistic common assessment of supportive and palliative care needs for adults with cancer

This report by King’s College London was commisioned by the Cancer Action Team to review the most effective way forward in assessment of supportive and palliative care for cancer patients.  The report sets out a description of how to  develop a unified approach to the assessment and recording of patients' needs.

The report is accompanied with a guidance document for practitioners and managers providing or coordinating the care of adults with cancer.It is for service providers to consider and is not mandatory, but will be helpful to improve service delivery.
