The Department of Health (DH) commissioned the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER), in partnership with nutritionists at the University of Leeds, to carry out a follow-up evaluation of the impact of the School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme (SFVS).  The aim was to investigate the longer-term impact of the scheme following its implementation in 2004.
