Details

This was announced 26 June 2010, and set out what sorts of projects will be funded and what criteria they will have to meet.

Paid-for communications

DH is aware of concerns that the restrictions in relation to paid-for communications could prevent the funding of activities that would improve substantially outcomes for children with palliative care needs and their families.  The restrictions remain in force, but DH will now consider funding paid-for communications activities, in a very limited range of circumstances.  Please see the “details” document, where an amended version of paragraph 8 covers this issue.

As this easement has come so close to the deadline for submitting proposals for funding in the first round, applications that include paid-for communications can now be submitted up to 10am on Thursday 5 August

The deadline for other applications remains as below.

Extension to deadline - 1st round funding applications

The Department has extended the deadline for receipt of funding applications The closing date for the first round has changed from Friday 30 July to 2pm, Monday 2 August 2010.
