Details

The Birmingham Untreated Heavy Drinkers project was commissioned by the Department of Health and has been running since 1997.

Over the past ten years it has provided a rare opportunity to follow and document the ‘natural history’ of untreated heavy drinking using a community-based sample of people who were heavy drinkers at the start of the study.
