The government's response to the Health Select Committee's report into mental health services

The Government welcomes the Select Committee's Report, which makes a substantial and wide- ranging contribution to the debate on how to provide modern mental health services. We are particularly pleased by the Committee's recognition of the progress that has been made in the last few years, and of the importance it has placed on our successful efforts to ensure that NHS and Social Care services work well together to support people with mental health problems.
