The aim of the mapping exercise is to show for the very first time what E&T is being provided measured against an agreed set of criteria so that it can be determined to what extent the current E&T supports the delivery of the NSF (and NHS Plan). The primary focus is on the local perspective to enable local services to assess where there are gaps in provision or where their current investment needs to be redirected. It will also allow the DH to assess the national position.
