National Task Force on Violence Against Social Care Staff - Report and national action plan

The National Action Plan contains a series of proposals aimed to ensure that the emerging national framework, comprising the GSCC, the SCC, TOPSS and SCIE as well as the SSI and Audit Commission, fully takes on board the messages about violence and abuse. The Plan seeks to build into the codes of practice, the guidelines, the training competencies and the inspection and regulation protocols, the means to ensure that employers and workers take their responsibilities seriously.
