The NHS Cancer Plan provides a national strategy to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer; to reform the way cancer services are delivered; to standardise care and improve patient experience; to co-ordinate research and to invest in equipment and the cancer workforce. It is a long-term strategy but this report shows that implementation of the Plan is delivering improvements.
