This document sets out guidance for Personal Medical Services (PMS) providers, Primary Care Trusts and Strategic Health Authorities. It explains how PMS will change from 1st April 2004. Elements of this guidance may be subject to change following further development and consultation on secondary legislation that will underpin the policy intent outlined in this document. The final contractor budget spreadsheet for PMS will be available when pensions issues have been resolved with the GPC and a final OOH opt out price is available. Please note any calculations obtained using this version would be incorrect until final version is released.
