Mainstreaming gender and women's mental health: implementation guidance

This guidance recommends a way forward for local planning processes for mental health and social care services and for the implementation of key areas for action to mainstream gender and women's mental health. The underlying theme is that gender differences in women and men need to be equally recognised and addressed across policy development, research, planning, commissioning, service organisation and delivery.
