This health visitor resource pack has been written to help health visitors develop their family-centred public health role. It offers a framework for practice and guidance for practitioners, their colleagues and managers on the public health aspect of the health visitor role. This pack : provides information about the family-centred public health role and new Government policies; summarises the principles of public health practice; suggests activities to help work in new ways.
