This document gives guidance to Local Authorities on Charging for Residential Accommodation (CRAG). It takes account of changes announced in LAC(2005)7 and is issued under Section 7(1) of the Local Authority Social Services Act 1970 which requires local authorities to exercise Social Services functions under guidance of Secretary of State.
CRAG has been updated to take account of changes announced in LAC(2005)7 . These changes are shown by the use of shading.
