During the UK Presidency of the EU, the Department of Health in England, and colleagues in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, hosted regular meetings of health policy officials from across Europe. There were formal and informal meetings of health ministers, and summits and conferences to bring together policy makers and other stakeholders.

The Directory of Events contains details of all meetings and will act as a useful reference document as well as giving a good sense of the breadth of EU work in the health field.

Please note that the event listed on p32 was held on 1 December 2005. The title has changed from 'A Competitive Pharmaceutical Industry in Europe: Benefits to Health and the Economy' to 'Delivering Patient-Centred Innovation in Medicines'. The rest of the details are unchanged.
