Private controlled drugs prescriptions and dental prescribing

A number of changes are being implemented to the way in which controlled drugs are prescribed and dispensed. The changes came into force on 1st April 2006 and subject to Parliamentary approval, will be given statutory backing by amendments to the Misuse of Drugs Regulations in early summer 2006. This paper highlights the key changes for private controlled drugs (CDs) prescribers.
