This guidance recommends a solution to the requirement to integrate urgent referrals for suspected cancer (two week wait (2WW)) referral pathways into Choose and Book. This proposal enables current Choose and Book functionality to support a consistent approach to the management of 2WW referrals, which should enable Trusts to make the best use of NICE guidance while allowing for local adaptation.
