Guidance notes and definitions

The following guide gives indicator definitions restricted to the indicators collected on the Key Statistics return for 2003-04 and rearranged in the order of the items on the Key Statistics data entry sheet. All the items that will need to be entered on the Key Statistics return (other than those for the User Survey) are included so councils can use this as a specification of the data that they will need to assemble.
