Local authority supported residents

The SR1 return introduced for the 1993/94 collection year, collects information on local authority supported residents in staffed homes or other accommodation. Data are collected by type of care (residential or nursing), age group, type of accommodation (local authority, voluntary, private and other accommodation), type of stay (long or short) and location (within or outside local authority). Data on short stay and long stay admissions of supported residents are also collected.

For 2005 the SR1 return must be completed using the Internet Data Collection (IDC) facility by 31 May 2005.

You should note that Table 5B on the number of permanent admissions relating to Boyd Loophole residents in 2003-04 is excluded for 2004-05.  See the guidance links below for more information.
