PSS User Experience Survey of clients with physical or sensory impairments aged 18-64

  • Last modified date:
    8 February 2007

This document sets out the actions authorities will need to perform during 2003-04 to survey those clients with physical or sensory impairments aged 18-64 who are in receipt of community based services. The survey will provide information to DH for two PAF performance indicators.

Summary of survey:

  • the survey should cover a sample of physically disabled or sensory impaired users aged 18-64 receiving community based services when the questionnaires are distributed
  • they are to be given/posted forms during January/February 2004
  • forms to be posted back to the authority, with chasing as necessary
  • the authority to send summarised data to the Department of Health by the end of May 2004
  • published in the PAF
  • the survey replaces the previous survey of elderly home care social services users that councils were asked to perform for 2002-03.

In addition to the complete guidance document, example survey forms and other individual documents for use in the survey can be downloaded from the links below.
