CORRECTIONS
Since the report was prepared for publication two input errors have been located in the returns from one LA and one HA inspection unit which had the effect of significantly overstating the income received in 1999-2000 in Tables A3 and A4 of the report (pages 14 and 15). A correct version of these tables is attached here - this also includes a few minor changes to the data for a small number of other authorities.
