Social Services Performance Assessment Framework Indicators: 2002-03

This is the fifth set of data for England for the performance indicators associated with the PSS PAF. The data were supplied to the Department of Health / Department for Education and Skills by each of the 150 councils with social services responsibilities. Data for the year ending 31 March 2003 are available for all of the 49 indicators.

A number of the indicator values for 2002-03 included in the publication have since been revised.

A table showing the original and revised England values for each indicator is available by clicking on the link to England averages below.

These and other revised values and bandings are shown in the spreadsheets below (click on the links under the section titled Spreadsheets containing the indicator data for individual councils).

  • 0002-03 data revised 1 December (revisions reflect revisions to mid year population estimates and only affect indicators A0/A5, C26, C26(adj), C27, C27(adj), C28-33, C51, D41 and E49)
  • 2002-03 data revised 18 November 2004
  • 2002-03 data revised 26 February 2004
  • 2002-2003 data published 13 November 2003
    N.B. The bandings for the "A4" indicator (at the bottom of the list) vary between councils, as they are related to the levels of employment, education and training for all 19 year olds in the council area.
