This circular advises on NHS responsibilities for arranging care by a registered nurse for people in care homes and arrangements for transferring responsibility from councils to the NHS.

Consultation on supplementary guidance for NHS-funded nursing care

Valuable responses were received during this consultation on supplementary guidance for NHS-funded nursing care. As a result the guidance was updated to incorporate the comments and was issued as HSC 2003/006: LAC(2003)7 on 12 March 2003.
