Whilst mental health is a stand alone topic in itself, there are areas where it overlaps with social care services. There are several areas in particular where this is relevant.
In August 2007, the Parliamentary Secretary for Care Services, Ivan Lewis, announced an extension to the Dignity in Care campaign to include specific areas for people with mental health needs.
