Report of the regional Dignity in Care events

The Department has held conferences at which Ivan Lewis, Minister for Care Services, launched The Dignity Challenge calling for high quality care services that respect people’s dignity, the Dignity in Care Champions Network, and the Dignity in Care Online Practice Guide.

The purpose of the conferences was to

• launch the Government’s Dignity in Care agenda to re-focus attention on delivering health and social care in ways which treat people with dignity and respect
  and to
• build a new network of champions to raise the profile of dignity in care.
