Details

The published revision to the guide provides clarity for measuring waiting times for NHS Allied Health Professional (AHP) services. It supports service improvement to reduce waiting times and improve patient access to NHS AHP services.

The Allied Health Professional Referral To Treatment Revised Guide 2011 revisions are focused on the feedback and comments received from stakeholders and provides greater clarity when applying the AHP RTT rules.

The rules for clock starts and clock stops, will be of interest to AHPs delivering NHS funded care (either fully or partially funded) in an independent or multidisciplinary service including mental health and learning disabilities services.

The AHP RTT revised guide replaces the previous published in March 2010.
