On the agenda this week: A review ordered by the Department of Health will look at the merits of an ‘Ofsted-style’ system of ratings for hospital and care homes; the planned NHS Chief Executive’s conference on 12 December 2012 has been cancelled and a full system health leadership event will be held in Birmingham in early February 2013; and an independent chair will be appointed to oversee a review of the Liverpool Care Pathway regarding end of life care.
