Publication of the DDRB Report on its review of the Clinical Excellence Awards Scheme

Report on review of the Clinical Excellence Awards Scheme is published.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

The Report from the Doctors’ and Dentists’ Remuneration Body (DDRB) on its review of the Clinical Excellence Awards Scheme has been published.

In a Press Release, the Government has identified some recommendations that have been accepted and announced that further discussions with the medical profession will be undertaken:

‘All four UK administrations will work with the BMA and NHS Employers over the coming months to ensure heads of agreement on the changes is reached by the Spring. Following agreement more detailed discussions will take place next year.’

ACCEA looks forwarding to contributing to those discussions and to reflecting on the content of the report.
